Funds raised through the 2010 ADRA-UK Annual Appeal support projects that will:

Combat hunger in Myanmar

Increase use of renewable energy in Somalia

Prevent exploitation of refugees in Thailand

Improve natural resource management in Burkina Faso

Help disabled children to go to school in Mongolia

Help fight hunger in Zambia

Help people with special needs in the UK

Provide food security in Ghana

Support international disaster response

All funds collected by volunteers.

In the period between March 27 and April 18 2010, many thousands of volunteers have collected from door-to-door for the work of ADRA-UK. This was the 97th year that volunteers went door-knocking to help people in need.

 

During the Annual Appeal period many other activites took place, from sponsored walks to benefit concerts to car washes.

 

Last year we raised almost £600,000 to aid the work of ADRA-UK.

 

Without these activities and the hard work of our volunteers, ADRA-UK would not be in a position to address the humanitarian issues of the world.
